Children with undetected vision problems are sometimes inaccurately diagnosed as having ADD (attention deficit disorder) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).   In the last two decades, the diagnoses of such conditions have become epidemic.   We recommend evaluate children for visual, motor, and auditory developmental problems before  labeling them  with any  type of attention deficit disorder since some symptoms attributed to ADD/ADHD are also seen in children and adults with visual and sensory developmental problems which can be improved by vision therapy.
